This entry defines the category 'multimedia' It was in-depth and used the web to it's full potential. Above all the other entries it was the STORY that brought this entry to the top. Despite too much narration [there could have been more ambient and the subjects themselves} I wanted to hear Brady say DADDY! not the narrator tell me that. I wanted to hear the sound of the off-road vehicle and Brady's laugh and hear the wind.  BUT, over all the photography was outstanding, the access was incredible and the emotion and openness captured by the storytellers made this package  very moving and watchable. Well done. A clear first place.

For me this defined the idea of taking an 'everyday' assignment and digging deep to find the story through one person's emotions. It also pulled me in with great audio quotes at the beginning. The storyteller presented me with an emotional story that didn't once have the subject say, "hi my name is..." It was about story and the storyteller used the story of the war to connect us with this guy and what the wall meant to him and how it's presence in the community changedhis life. Most of us, would have covered this story in such a traditional way, this was refreshing and inspiring.
